Join our instructor, Beatrice, for this two hour, hands on workshop where we'll look at different ways to make lidded vessels and add galleries to pots. You should be comfortable with centering and throwing tall cylinders to get the most out of this workshop. In this workshop you will make several different types of lids and galleries.

Have you wanted to throw a teapot but not sure where to start? Can you throw a 6 inch cylinder?
Then this 2 day workshop will be perfect for you!
You will learn how to throw a vessel, lid and spout; form a handle and assemble the pieces to create a functional teapot. Considerations around form and function will be discussed and participants are encouraged to explore different designs. Each day includes a 1hr lunch break. Required tools include serrated rib, silicone or rubber kidney rib, clay caliper, pin tool, fettling knife, trimming tool, cutting wire.
$195 per person.
