This is a dark green glaze that turns opaque and matte with heavy application. Be aware that it can run A LOT in combinations.
Dark Crystal Green on M390 and M370
6 second dip of DCG on M340 by Tessa. This glaze needs to be stirred until your arms feel like they are going to fall off. I have better luck with smaller work or using it in half a piece. I find it doesn’t work so well on the outside of bowls.
A full dip of glossy black on reclaim clay with Dark Crystal Green drizzled over top - for some reason on top of Glossy black (NOT MYSTERY BLACK) DCG turns gold
In thinner application, dark crystal green stays glossy and translucent on most clay (this one is reclaim)
Lorettas quick dip on the top inch, then dark crystal green full dip **This combination runs like crazy**
Dark crystal green dip on bottom half, GB White dip on top half with overlap
3 second dark crystal green with waterfall on the rim. The one on the right had a longer dip of waterfall by Christine Parker
1/2 dip Mystery Spruce with 1/2 dip Dark Crystal Green on top with a slight overlap on reclaim by Tessa
Lorettas Rim dip quickly, Crystal gree full dip for 2-3 seconds, then mystery black dipped just on the rim on Studio Reclaim
A long dip of the whole mug in Crystal Green, then dipped Waterfall on the rim - I think this was too much waterfall, on studio reclaim
Dark Crystal Green on PSH Dark Granite by Cathy M. Left lots of room and still almost ran onto the shelf!
